Advinia Health Care is seeking a Bank General Assistant at Netherton Green Care Home to support daily meal preparation and service for Residents, Staff and Visitors. You will work as part of the kitchen team, helping to maintain hygiene standards and stock procedures while liaising with the wider team.

This bank role offers flexible shifts, a calm team environment, and opportunities to contribute to well-being and quality of care in a care home setting.

As a Bank Catering Assistant you will be:

Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

Serving Residents, Staff and Visitors with food and beverages.

Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.

Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.

As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.

Liaising with the wider team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP

Experience of working within similar role.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
