Advinia is seeking a Bank General Assistant to join the Woodfield Care Home kitchen team. The role offers flexible bank shifts, supporting daily meal service for Residents, Staff and Visitors, and opportunities to contribute to food preparation in a calm environment.

As a crucial part of the kitchen team, you’ll play a vital role in helping provide daily meals for Residents, Staff and Visitors. Dive into food preparation and elevate your role.

Serving Residents, Staff and Visitors with food and beverages.
Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
Liaising with the wider team.
Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable)
Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
Experience of working within similar role.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

You will work alongside the multidisciplinary service to promote great food service. 
Hourly rate of£12.71 per hour
