Agincare is seeking a chef/cook to join our team in Gloucestershire, delivering high-quality meals while managing dietary requirements and kitchen operations. The role offers a bank contract with flexible daytime hours from 7am to 4pm, and opportunities for training and career development.

You should have a background in professional kitchens and be familiar with IDDSI frameworks or complex dietary needs. The position supports a strong team culture, with benefits including training and a pension

£13.30 per hour

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

• Must be flexible to work weekends and/or during the week when needed between the hours of 7am-4pm

A day in the life of a Cook

• Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas.
• Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our residents' specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies.
• Kitchen Management -You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards.
