Job summary

Connaught Care Collection is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the team in providing warm, well-presented meals and a clean, safe kitchen. You’ll work alongside chefs to prep, plate and maintain high hygiene standards, contributing to residents' comfort and dignity in a luxury care home setting.

• Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout each shift.
• Help plate and present meals with care and consistency.
• Keep the kitchen well-stocked, organised and running like clockwork.
• Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout each shift

Help plate and present meals with care and consistency

Keep the kitchen well-stocked, organised and running like clockwork

Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth service
