Job summary

St Margaret’s Hospice is seeking a Bank Housekeeper in Taunton to join our compassionate team. This flexible bank role offers an hourly rate of £13.12 plus 14% unsocial hours enhancement and on-site parking.

You’ll keep our hospice clean, safe and welcoming across seven days a week from 7am to 6pm, supporting clinical services and delivering patient-centered care in a community charity setting.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a healthcare environment.
• Physically able to perform demanding cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep the hospice clean, safe and welcoming for patients, families and visitors.
• Support the smooth running of Clinical Services.
• Work seven days a week between 7am and 6pm.

What can you expect to be doing?

As a Bank Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our hospice clean, safe, and welcoming.

Your work will support the smooth running of our Clinical Services and help create a comforting environment for patients, families, and visitors.

Our housekeeping service operates sevendays a week, between 7am and 6pm.

What will you be good at?

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Experience of cleaning in a healthcare environment

Due to the nature of the work, this can be a physically demanding role.

If you are successful at interview, this role will require a standard background check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
