Job summary

Victoria Gardens is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents with long-term neurological conditions. You will clean wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas, working closely with the maintenance team to ensure high standards throughout the service.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, professional communication with staff and visitors, and adherence to safety policies. NHS-style safeguarding and mandatory training are core requirements.

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Victoria Gardens as a Bank Housekeeper. You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service for those who have long term neurological conditions where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team you'll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.,

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare., Our will be working at Victoria Gardens, a specialist locked rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge, as well as a ward for older females. You will support the service to equip service users with the skills required for community living and increased independence.

The service is a recovery-based service and incorporates elements of the Good Lives Model, supported by individualised interventions. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team which includes Nursing, Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist and Social Worker support.
