Job summary

Rhodes Wood Hospital is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join the staff bank, ensuring clean, safe environments across wards, offices, bedrooms and visitors areas. You will work with the maintenance team to keep all areas spotless and provide high-standard cleaning services.

Candidates should have prior cleaning experience in similar settings and enjoy delivering quality work. Training is provided, with shifts including weekends and some weekdays, based at Rhodes Wood Hospital near Hatfield.

Responsibilities

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital as a Bank Housekeeper. You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service for those who have long term neurological conditionswhere you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team you'll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.,

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare. Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment

Weekend shift available and occasional weekday from 7am-3pm.

Join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person. There is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital. Rhodes Wood Hospital is located on the outskirts of Hatfield, which is easily reachable by car. What you will get:
