Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a bank-based Community Carer and HCA to provide hands-on personal care in clients’ homes. The role offers flexible hours as shifts become available, with duties ranging from daily living support to end-of-life care.

Applicants should have at least 3 years’ experience, an enhanced DBS, a full driving licence and reliable transport. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in an equivalent care role.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK without restrictions.
• Car driver with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Support mobility, transfers and safe use of equipment.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
