Optegra has an exciting job opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Technician to join our friendly and supportive team in our prestigious private Leicester Eye Clinic. This is a zero-hour contract offering flexible shifts, with pay starting from £13ph depending on experience. Please note the role involves traveling across dual sites (Leicester and Nottingham) as required.

The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team focused on quality patient care, you will provide high standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists, delivering diagnostics, pre-assessment, and post-operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Experience working as a Healthcare Technician (HCT) or Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a hospital ward or theatre environment, particularly in Ophthalmology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competence
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and other systems
• Highly organized with clear forward planning and flexibility to meet customer needs
