Job Description: Patient Transport and Care Role

You'll work closely with a skilled team, contribute to safeguarding practices, and respond to emergencies, all while developing your expertise in crisis intervention and patient care.   1. Provide high-quality patient care.
  2. Carry out physical interventions with patients when required.
  3. Drive Prometheus ambulances as needed.
  4. Assist qualified nurses in safely conveying and transferring patients under care.
  5. Ensure proper handover of patient details, including risk history and current presentation, from relevant medical staff.
  6. Complete all necessary paperwork for patient transfers, especially when RMN is unavailable and the patient is informal.
  7. Provide crisis intervention during patient transfers.
  8. Respond to emergencies during duty hours.
  9. Be aware of relevant safeguarding policies for children and adults.
  10. Attend all required training, meetings, and reviews.
  11. Maintain good working relationships with staff and patients through professional attitude and response.
  12. Report accidents, complaints, and untoward incidents promptly.
  13. Arrive at the Prometheus base on time and adhere to uniform policy.
  14. Perform additional tasks as reasonably assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.
  15. Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
  16. Show strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  17. Be proactive and a positive self-starter.
  18. Work effectively as part of a team.
  19. Be well-organized with good time management skills.
  20. Hold a valid Enhanced DBS check.
  21. Currently working in a compliance-focused role.
  22. Possess a full UK Driving Licence (Provisional licences not accepted).
  23. Have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available).
  24. Provide employment references covering up to 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years UK employment history.
