What You Will Be Doing

Working Details

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank, you'll be on a zero-hour contract, choosing shifts that suit you each week.

Stanley House offers long-term care with a multidisciplinary approach, including therapies like Physiotherapy and Art Therapy, and input from specialists such as a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly GP clinics.

Residents' needs vary, from managing personal care to full reliance, including assistance with washing, dressing, shaving, continence, and eating. End-of-life care is also provided in a comfortable, familiar environment, supporting families too.

Residents enjoy activities like wheelchair and walking assistance, family days, trips to local cafes, shops, and bowling—moments that are truly rewarding.
