Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Chippenham is seeking a Bank Health Care Support Worker to provide hands-on patient care on a flexible bank basis. You will support patient comfort and independence, work with a multidisciplinary team, and help deliver high-quality clinical care in Chippenham Community Hospital.

The role offers opportunities for learning, professional development and rotation across clinical areas, with a focus on infection control and compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

  • Good general education.
  • Care Certificate, or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe.
  • Experience of working under supervision and supporting colleagues within a team environment.
  • Experience of delivering patient-centred care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and recognise own limitations.
  • Good typing, data entry, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to safely undertake patient moving and handling and delegated nursing/therapy tasks following training.
