Bank Forensic Nurse or Paramedic - Surrey Custody
  • £500 referral bonus when you refer healthcare professionals to us

At Mountain Healthcare, we seek passionate, determined, and resilient individuals to join our teams as Forensic Custody Healthcare Professionals in Surrey.

Main duties of the job
  • Performing forensic sampling, including bloods for road traffic offences.
  • Signposting, conducting referrals, and supporting vulnerabilities to help break re-offending patterns.
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies.
  • Assessing and caring for detainees and staff in custody.
  • Promoting good personal healthcare.
  • Collaborating with Liaison and Diversion teams to identify mental health needs.

Job responsibilities

This role is suitable for RGN and qualified Paramedics with over 3 years of post-qualification experience.

Custody environments are dynamic; detainees can be held up to 24 hours, requiring high-quality care for issues from substance dependency to medical emergencies. Our professionals are trained to collect forensic samples to aid police investigations, with no prior forensic experience necessary. You will work closely with police and receive training to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner. If maintaining a good work-life balance is a priority, this role offers clearer boundaries.

This is a Bank vacancy only, covering locations such as Guildford, Staines, and Salford.
