Job summary

Shaftesbury York House, Shrewsbury, part of Shaftesbury's disability services, is seeking Bank Enabling Support Workers to provide support and encouragement, taking direction from the person supported and the person-centred plan.

You will maintain accurate records, may administer personal care and medication, and cover sleep-in sessions for an additional £60 per sleep in. Shaftesbury is committed to safeguarding and equal opportunities, with enhanced DBS/Access NI checks required.

About the role

As a Bank Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be the opportunity to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
