Job summary

Shaftesbury is recruiting for Bank Enabling Support Workers at John Grooms Court in Norwich. The role provides support and encouragement to adults with disabilities, following person-centred plans and promoting inclusion and wellbeing.

You will maintain accurate records, may administer personal care and medication, and may cover sleep-in sessions with an extra £60 per sleep-in. A compassionate, community-minded approach is essential, with commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks.

About the role

As a Bank Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be the opportunity to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

John Grooms Court, Norwich, is a residential home for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. This service provides 25 single-occupancy, self-contained flats plus two flats for two people.
