Job summary

Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery is seeking a bank Early Years Teacher to support EYFS delivery on a flexible bank basis. You will join a friendly team in a refurbished setting with a large outdoor area and cosy reading corners, contributing to a high standard of care and learning.

You will hold QTS/EYTS/EYPS or Level 6 Early Years qualification, be passionate about making learning enjoyable, and prioritise safeguarding and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Hold either QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Sound safeguarding and child protection understanding.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of EYFS through engaging children in activities.
• Work with the team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

Salary – £15.08 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a bank Early Years Teacher to join our Kenilworth Day Nursery on a bank/flexi basis! The nursery is situated in the beautiful castle town of Kenilworth -commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa and the West Midlands. This nursery offers a full refurbished environment, extensive outdoor area and is full of cosy reading corners, sensory area's and imagination stations!

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
