Job summary

Bright Horizons Chiswick Park nursery is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. You will deliver EYFS activities, support colleagues, and help maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children.

The role offers varied hours with benefits including a 40% childcare discount, enhanced parental leave and a strong development programme. DBS checks and safeguarding are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Must have Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny or Childminder.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in educational activities.
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks, including room tidying and preparation.

We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Chiswick Park nursery. At Chiswick Park we have three separate room for specific age groups, a large garden area with free flow play and an art studio. Our nursery is also linked with our local community.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
