Bright Horizons is hiring for a flexible Bright Flex/Bank practitioner at our Chigwell nursery. You will help deliver the EYFS through engaging activities and support a busy nursery environment.

You will work as part of a supportive team, covering shifts as needed while maintaining safeguarding standards and providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged early years. This role is based on site in Chigwell, Essex.

Qualifikationen

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for children.
• Good communication with children and adults.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Flexible and adaptable to cover Bright Flex/Bank shifts.

Salary – Starting from £15 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Chigwell nursery. Our Nursery in Chigwell is located very close to Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell Tube stations, making us a convenient setting for commuting parents. Along with an onsite car park.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
