Job summary

Rockhopper Children's Services is seeking dedicated Bank Residential Children's Care Workers to support children and young people at Dovedale House in Uxbridge. You will work flexibly to provide safe, nurturing care for ages 9-17 with SEND, ASC, ADHD and SEMH, helping them build confidence and life skills.

Join a supportive team, receive ongoing development, and access funded qualifications. A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to work weekends are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs and/or mental health needs.
• Caring, empathetic and child-centred approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience, patience and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Willingness to work weekends; full UK driving licence preferred.

We're looking for dedicated, resilient and compassionate Bank Residential Children's Care Workers to join our team. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work around existing commitments whilst making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.
Working with children and young people aged 9-17 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you will help provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, independence and the skills they need to thrive.
You'll be more than a care worker. You'll be a mentor, role model and trusted adult, helping children and young people feel valued, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing day-to-day care and support within a safe and nurturing home environment
