Job summary

Rockhopper Children's Services is seeking Residential Children's Care Workers for Dovedale House. You will provide safe, nurturing care for children and young people aged 9-17 with SEND, Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs.

Salary: £27,219 to £29,951 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) plus £60 per sleep-in shift worked.

We are looking for dedicated, resilient and compassionate Residential Children's Care Workers to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will help provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, independence and the skills they need to thrive.

Working with children and young people aged 9-17 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you will play an important role in supporting young people to overcome challenges, build resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
You’ll be more than a care worker. You’ll be a mentor, role model and trusted adult, helping children and young people feel valued, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.
