Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Wylesfield. You will work with the Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist and staff to deliver high‑quality, fresh, home‑cooked meals daily and to meet the dietary needs of residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and other guests in a timely manner.
• Provide a varied diet that accommodates the cultural preferences of those we serve.
• Plan and prepare meals for celebrations and other events within the home.
• Order supplies within the catering budget and in accordance with company policy, using approved suppliers when the senior cook is absent.
• Maintain accurate catering records in line with HACCP requirements.
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and local authorities.
• Maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Support a safe and healthy working environment by complying with Health & Safety and Welfare standards.
• Manage the catering team when required.

Salary: £12.70 per hour
