Job summary

Spire St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Bank Chef to join the Catering team on a flexible bank basis. Shifts run 7am–6pm with weekends possible, covering annual leave, sickness and busy periods.

Ideal for an experienced Chef who delivers high-quality food to patients, staff and consultants in a professional environment. Spire St Anthony's Hospital is part of Spire Healthcare in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
• Experience preparing meals for large numbers.

Responsibilities

• Support with the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Assist with food orders and dietary requirements.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties.

Spire St Anthony's Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 7am - 6pm, including some weekends.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a professional environment and delivering high-quality food and service to patients, staff and consultants.

Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
• Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
• Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
• Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties

Who we're looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
• Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
• Experience preparing meals for large numbers
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
