Job summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a Bank Chef for Woodthorpe Hospital to prepare and cook meals for patients and staff in our hospital kitchens. This role offers flexible, ad-hoc shifts designed to fit availability and supports our broader catering operations.

Bank Chef - Woodthorpe Hospital - Bank Hours

Based in our kitchens you will be one of our Chefs responsible for preparation and cooking of all meals served to both patients and staff. Meals for our patients are prepared in accordance with dietary requirements and nutritional guidelines, with good opportunity to show creativity within the staff restaurant. This position would suit an experienced Chef looking to pick up ad hoc shifts within the department.


Who we're looking for


  • A relevant culinary qualification (NVQ etc)

  • Experience working as a Chef in a professional environment

  • Level 3 or 4 Food Hygiene qualification preferred

  • Excellent team worker and the flexibility to work varying shift lengths


What is a Bank contract?

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals.
