Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Bank Residential Team Leader in Kettering to maintain high standards of person-centred care and support the team on a zero-hours shift basis. The role focuses on safe medication administration, proactive communication with residents and families, and maintaining care plans.

You will lead on shift, ensure best practices, and work within Shaw Healthcare policy to support residents and colleagues in a dynamic residential and nursing care environment in Thorndale,

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards it.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
