Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Bank Care Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home. You will support residents with personal care and hygiene, promoting independence while spotting clinical risks for escalation when needed.

The role requires DBS clearance and eligibility to work in the UK. Induction and ongoing training are provided, with opportunities to learn and develop within the home.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with residents and colleagues.
• Respectful and patient approach to care.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks.
• Willingness to cover shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care as part of the care team, ensuring continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and escalate clinical risks such as falls, weight loss or infection promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
