Excelcare Holdings is seeking a Bank Care Assistant at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, Essex, to support residents with meals, personal care and daily activities.

This zero-hours contract offers competitive hourly pay (£13.45–£13.85) with enhancements such as DBS paid by Excelcare, paid uniform, and annual salary reviews.

Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years.We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

• Salary: £13.45 - £13.85 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
• 0 hours a week (Zero hours contract)
• 12 hour shifts from 8am - 8pm, Monday - Sunday.

As a Care Assistant you will be assisting with mealtimes, personal care and completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts and care plans. You will be engaging in meaningful activities with the people living in our care home as well as always promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.

What we are looking for from you:

Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one would be ideal, however if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people - become one of the Excelcare family.
