Job summary

Templeton House Care Home in Ayr is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nourishment in a warm, home-like setting.

You will follow care plans, promote dignity and wellbeing, and work as part of a friendly team. Full training and ongoing development are provided, with PVG checks paid and uniforms supplied. Experience is welcome but not essential, and training will support your journey.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to Bank hours per week
• Paid PVG, uniform provided

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
