Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our ePMA team on a bank basis for checking/transcribing during go-live weekends. You must be registered with the GPhC and hold a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent, with on-call and weekend commitments expected.

Master of Pharmacy or equivalent, and a commitment to bilingual service delivery are essential. The role offers flexible hours and a pro-rata salary for part-time arrangements.

• Accredited supervisor for foundation or post foundation Pharmacists.
• Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing of Medicines training.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the shift in clinical practice of digitalising services.

The post requires a highly motivated pharmacist with excellent communication skills. You will also demonstrate excellent decision making and problem solving skills.

You will be supported to develop non–medical prescribing, advanced level clinical skills and leadership and management skills if needed.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
