Job summary

Connaught Care Collection is seeking an Events Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities at its care homes across the South of England. You will craft personalised events that celebrate residents’ life stories and bring communities together, working closely with families and care teams to ensure every gathering is meaningful and joyful.

You will collaborate with local groups and volunteers, manage budgets with care, and track feedback to continually enhance the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or coordination, hospitality, care, or community settings a bonus.
• Warm, engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
• Creativity and attention to detail for joyful, inclusive experiences.
• Confidence working with older adults, including those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver a wide range of enriching events from daily activities to community celebrations.
• Create personalised experiences tailored to residents' preferences and life stories.
• Work with residents, families and care teams to ensure inclusive, thoughtful events.
• Coordinate with local groups, schools, entertainers and volunteers to bring the community into the home.
• Assist Events Manager with budgets, calendars and promotional materials.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Design, plan and deliver a wide range of enriching events, from daily activities to larger community celebrations

Create personalised experiences tailored to residents’ preferences, hobbies, and life stories

Work closely with residents, families, and care teams to ensure every event is inclusive, thoughtful, and meaningful

Support links with local groups, schools, entertainers and volunteers to bring the community into the home

Working with the Events Manager to manage budgets, calendars, and promotional materials with creativity and care

Track engagement and feedback to continually improve and innovate our events programme
