Job summary

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is seeking a Bandsaw Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in the Rotherham area. You will operate bandsaws to cut materials to specification and read cutting lists and drawings to ensure accuracy.

You will measure and check materials, load and unload safely, and perform quality checks on finished products. The role is full-time with rotating days and afternoons, offering training and progression in a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a bandsaw.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• FLT experience is advantageous but not essential.
