UHBW Primary Care Dental Services Band A Dental Officer, Part Time, 4 days 0.8 wte. An opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dentist to join our Primary Care Dental Service has arisen working as a Band A Dental Officer. This post is fixed term, 12 months, 4 days, 0.8wte. This is a fixed term post working in a well equipped, modern surgery. Well supported by Senior Clinicians, highly experienced dental nurses, Operations manager and Clinical Director.
You will be expected to provide high quality NHS emergency and routine care to a diverse range of patients of all ages from the locality including those patients with additional needs. We have six site across Bristol, Bath and Weston and there may be some travelling to additional sites. Treatment using localanaesthetic and conscious sedationasappropriate to clinical needsand theappointed candidate's clinical skills. Oral healthassessmentand treatment of childandadult patients because of their disability, medical status, or complexity of careare consideredas having "Additional Needs"andare unable to obtaindentalcare from other NHS resources. The post holder will be required to carry out domiciliary visitsas required,as wellasattending in-patients in local hospitalsand nursing homes.
