Job Description:

Direct Medics is working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8b Clinical Psychologist based in Preston. The role involves providing a comprehensive specialist Community Pain & ME/CFS service. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a highly specialized psychological service to support and enhance the psychological care of patients with persistent pain, as well as supporting the work of the Moving Well Pain and ME/CFS multidisciplinary team.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way to enhance your earning potential while working with some of the most professional Psychology teams in the country. The role is ideally open to both full and part-time hours, initially for a 3-month duration.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist
• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent as accredited by the BPS
• Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment across various care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient
• Substantial assessed experience working as a qualified clinical psychologist at a senior level
• Full UK Drivers License & access to a car
• Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
