Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior EPMA Pharmacist to lead development, configuration, testing and governance of the EPMA system across the Trust. This role requires extensive experience with Oracle Health EPR and CareFlow EPMA to deliver safe, digitally enabled prescribing practices.

The post involves leading organisation‑wide EPMA initiatives, providing clinical governance, and coaching staff in EPMA systems within a dynamic Clinical Informatics team.

Qualifications

• MPharm or equivalent professional registration with GPhC.
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or Digital Health.
• Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
• Post registration hospital clinical pharmacy and digital health experience.
• Experience in IT and electronic prescribing systems.
• Experience configuring Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium.

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior EPMA Pharmacist to join our Clinical Informatics team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead the development, optimisation and governance of our Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system, supporting safer, more effective and digitally enabled patient care across the Group.

The successful candidate will demonstrate significant experience and expertise in the technical and operational aspects of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) within Oracle Health EPR. Candidates with additional experience in CareFlow EPMA will be preferred. They will have considerable experience leading and delivering organisation-wide EPMA initiatives and transformational projects, supported by extensive and current experience in a senior EPMA pharmacist role.

Main duties of the job

As Senior EPMA Pharmacist, you will:

• Lead and support the development, configuration, testing and optimisation of the EPMA system.
