Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and reflective Psychotherapist to join our Specialist Psychotherapy Service at Callum Lodge, Winson Green. The post offers opportunities to deliver both individual and group therapy within a tertiary-level service.

The successful candidate will have strong training in Compassion Focused Therapy and demonstrable experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy, with involvement in staff supervision and development

Qualifications

• Has strong training/experience in Compassion Focused Therapy.
• Holds additional qualification and/or demonstrable experience in delivering psychodynamic psychotherapy.
• Can actively contribute to both established psychodynamic work and development of compassion-focused interventions within the service.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term individual and group psychotherapy using a psychodynamic approach.
• Deliver Compassion Focused Group psychotherapy programme and analytic group/work.
• Contribute to supervision, reflective practice, consultation and training across the Trust.
