Job summary

Direct Medics Ltd in the UK seeks an Advanced Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to provide expert clinical leadership in a hospital setting, ensuring safe, effective medicines optimisation and strong governance.

This permanent position starts from December 2026/January 2027 or as soon as possible, requiring GPhC registration, a Pharmacy degree, and substantial hospital experience. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required for practice in the UK.
• Degree or Master’s in Pharmacy is required.
• Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience is required.
• Significant hospital and clinical pharmacy experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of medicines management and national pharmaceutical guidelines is essential.
• Right to live and work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy leadership in a hospital setting.
• Lead medicines optimisation, governance and service development.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and compliance.
