Job Description

Direct Medics is partnering with an NHS Trust in the Dundee area to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist. The role involves providing a comprehensive specialist Elderly Medicine pharmacy service on the wards, with some dispensary duties. Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way to enhance your earning potential and work with some of the most professional hospital pharmacy teams in the country. This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with no evening or weekend work, from March to at least August 2025.

Requirements

• Valid GPhC Registration
• Postgraduate Diploma/MSc in a relevant field or demonstrate advanced professional practice, knowledge, and training
• Significant post-registration experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a hospital setting (UK) or evidence of transferable skills
• Independent prescriber or evidence of completing the “preparing to prescribe” requirements of the NES post-registration foundation programme
• Full UK Driver's license and access to a car
• Right to live and work in the UK
