About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 8 Oncology Haematology Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our adult chemotherapy patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology and hematology patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Ensure safe and effective use of chemotherapy medications.
• Provide expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and contraindications.
• Participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• GPhC registered.
• ACT Accredited.
• Significant experience in oncology and haematology pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and medications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Flexibility to adapt to remote working arrangements if necessary.
