Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust invites registered dietitians with an interest in mental health to join the ENERGISE-BD trial. This Wellcome-funded study evaluates nutritional ketosis versus NHS EatWell guidelines for bipolar depression.
As part of the ENERGISE-BD team you will recruit patients, guide interventions, collect data, supervise colleagues, maintain records, and contribute to national and international conference presentations while maintaining CPD.

The ENERGISE-BD trial (Evaluating Nutritional Ketosis versus NHS EatWell Recommended Guidelines for Bipolar Disorder) is a randomised controlled trial for bipolar depression. It will compare the efficacy of nutritional ketosis approach with the NHS EatWell dietary guidelines.
Maintain clinical skills by participation in continuing professional development (for example on the flexible delivery of nutritional ketosis approaches), as agreed with line manager (5% of time).
