Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a Band 7 Paediatrics & Neonatal Speech & Language Therapist in Coventry for an ongoing locum role within Speech Therapy. You will work on acute paediatric and neonatal caseloads, in a large tertiary Neonatal Unit and Paediatric Service, with multidisciplinary colleagues to improve patient pathways.

The role focuses on feeding and swallowing disorders, paediatric dysphagia, and neonatal feeding.

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate paediatric dysphagia training is essential.
• Experience in assessing and managing paediatric dysphagia and feeding difficulties.
• Experience in neonatal services and acute paediatric settings.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning with the capability to manage a specialist caseload independently.

Aufgaben

• Assess, diagnose, and manage children with feeding and swallowing difficulties.
• Manage neonatal feeding and swallowing challenges with expertise.
• Oversee paediatric dysphagia caseload and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams for feeding and swallowing management.
• Prioritise referrals, support discharge planning, and evaluate treatment outcomes using evidence-based practice.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and participate in audits and quality improvement.
