We are seeking an experienced and skilled Locum Dietitian to join a dynamic team in London. This role is ideal for an ITU/TPN Dietitian available to work over the Christmas period, starting on the 27th December for a duration of one month. The position is focused on providing specialist nutritional support for critical care patients, including TPN management and nutrition assessments.
Responsibilities:
As a Locum Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing specialist nutritional assessments, planning, and interventions for patients in the Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU), with a focus on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). You will work closely with the clinical team to ensure that patients’ nutritional needs are met in accordance with their medical conditions, including critically ill patients and those requiring complex nutritional support. This role involves a high level of clinical responsibility, including managing a caseload of patients requiring intensive nutritional support and offering advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team on best practices for nutrition therapy. You will also play a key role in monitoring and evaluating patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
