Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Echocardiographer in Gloucester to deliver specialist echocardiography services across NHS sites. Working Monday to Friday, you can opt for 4 long days or 5 standard days in a full-time ongoing locum role, with an hourly rate of £31.

HCPC registration and a minimum of two years' echocardiography experience are required; a driving licence is preferred. You will gain exposure to advanced echocardiography equipment and join a network of clinicians,

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration.
• A minimum of two years' experience as an Echocardiographer.
• A full driving licence is preferable to facilitate travel between sites.
• BSE accredited physiologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiography clinics at either Gloucester Royal Hospital or Cheltenham General Hospital.
• Manage each clinic session, comprising 8 standard slots or 10 slots per long day.
• Deliver high-quality echocardiograms, ensuring accurate and detailed ultrasound images.
• Generate comprehensive diagnostic reports for clinicians and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide advice and support to other healthcare professionals regarding echocardiography findings.
• Maintain and upkeep all clinical records and equipment related to echocardiography as per NHS standards.
