Job summary

Procare Community Services seeks a Band 7 Team Lead for the Guildford and Waverley Community Nursing service. You will lead and support a nursing team, oversee staffing, investigations and Datix reporting, and drive service improvement.

The role is roughly 40% clinical practice and 60% management, with a Monday to Sunday pattern, 8am to 8pm. The successful candidate will hold current NMC registration, an assessor or mentor qualification, and have proven leadership in community nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced nurse with leadership in community settings.
• Ability to manage staffing, appraisals and HR processes.
• Evidence-based clinical advisory skills for staff in locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across Guildford and Waverley Community Nursing.
• Manage staffing, return to work, sickness, reviews and appraisals.
• Lead Datix investigations and incident reporting.
• Deliver 40% clinical practice and 60% management.
• Support staff development and create a positive team culture.
