Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 CAMHS Crisis Line Practitioner in Redhill, UK. This full-time locum role offers £31.50 per hour and an ongoing assignment with a trusted NHS Trust partner.

You will conduct crisis and risk assessments for children and young people, provide telephone-based triage, coordinate referrals to CAMHS and partners, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, compassionate mental health care.

Qualifications

• RMN registration and CAMHS experience required.
• Strong assessment, risk management, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake crisis assessments and risk assessments of children and young people experiencing acute mental health challenges.
• Provide telephone-based mental health triage and support.
• Manage safeguarding concerns and handle clinical risk.
• Signpost and refer patients to CAMHS and partner services, coordinating care across providers.
• Liaise with families, professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
