Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar anatomical pathology or mortuary role is required.
• A valid driving licence is preferable, as travel between sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post-mortem examinations and work closely with pathologists to help determine causes of death.
• Maintain precise records and reports, ensuring all findings are documented accurately.
• Safeguard specimens through meticulous sample management and processing.
• Manage and maintain mortuary facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Liaise with a diverse range of professionals and relatives, demonstrating compassion, sensitivity, and clear communication.
• Work within health and safety regulations, applying best practice to all procedures.
