Job summary

Globe Locums is recruiting an Anatomical Pathology Technician for Leicester. The role is a 4-month initial contract with potential extension, requiring Mon-Fri, 7.5 hours daily between 7.30am-5pm.

Pay rates are £17.39 or £22.61 PAYE via direct engagement, band 5 or 6, and occasional work at other hospital sites. Applicants must have at least 12 months NHS mortuary experience, 1 year post graduate experience, APT certification with RSPH (higher diploma desirable), HCPC registration, DBS/Police

Qualifications

• APT certification with RSPH; higher diploma desirable.
• At least 12 months NHS mortuary experience and minimum 3 months post certification.
• Coronial and forensic experience including paediatric post mortems.
• In a busy mortuary environment with flexibility and good physical health.

• Carry out mortuary duties in a busy environment.
