A leading mental health service provider in the UK seeks a Band 6 Specialist ROSE Practitioner to enhance engagement and deliver targeted interventions for individuals with serious mental illnesses. Join a supportive team dedicated to improving the quality of life for service users through creative and flexible approaches. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and receive regular supervision to develop effective care plans.
The South Gloucestershire Recovery, Outreach, Support & Engagement Team (ROSE) offers an opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist ROSE Practitioner, Key Worker.
The successful applicant will be embedded within the South Gloucestershire Recovery Team, working across two sites: Kingswood Civic Centre (Kingswood) and The Elms (Thornbury). The ROSE team is a psychologically informed service, working closely with some of the most complex service users who are hard to engage or reach, with high hospital admission rates.
The aim of the ROSE team is to proactively improve the quality of life for service users by providing creative and flexible interventions. Caseloads are capped at 15 (pro rata based on hours worked). You will be part of a friendly and supportive established team.
The successful applicant will meet with service users, employing assertive engagement principles and delivering interventions focused on enhanced engagement, within a whole-team approach led by a Senior Practitioner. You will have access to support from a Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrists to develop recovery-focused care and risk management plans.
Practitioners in the ROSE team are integrated within South Gloucestershire Recovery Teams, providing health and social care interventions aimed at reducing hospital admissions and contact with Intensive Teams, through engagement and recovery principles. The service supports individuals with serious mental illnesses by delivering targeted engagement and interventions to improve social functioning. You will receive regular supervision and collaborate with Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers.
