Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Endoscopy Department. Although this is a full-time position, part-time hours will be considered. We are looking to recruit an experienced Endoscopy nurse with a team leader background. The post holder will support the smooth running of the department, undertaking tasks such as coordination of inpatient and outpatient flow, staffing management, and other junior management duties. Training will be provided in Endoscopy-related information, HR tasks, audit work, and other necessary skills.

Main duties of the job

  • Serve as a role model within the Endoscopy Unit to promote quality and team leadership.
  • Manage HR responsibilities including sickness, absence, and recruitment.
  • Train and share knowledge with new, junior, and student staff.
  • Contribute to audit processes for JAG accreditation.
  • Participate in staff rostering and resource management.
  • Engage in service improvement and development initiatives.
