Job summary

Join our dynamic Radiology team as a Band 6 Senior Radiographer specialising in CT and MRI at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. You will deliver a high-quality imaging service across trauma, emergency, inpatient and outpatient cases, working with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor colleagues and students, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and participate in a seven-day, out-of-hours rota to support a 24/7 imaging service.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography, HCPC registration and ongoing professional development.
• Postgraduate diploma or MSc in CT or MRI preferred.
• Experience in CT and MRI imaging in a busy radiology service.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform CT and MRI examinations with high image quality.
• Assess patient suitability and administer contrast per protocol.
• Prioritise workloads and escalate urgent findings to radiologists.
• Lead, mentor and supervise Radiographers and student learners.
