Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Rotational Dietitian (Band 6) to join the Dietetics team at Watford General Hospital. The role covers Surgery, General Medicine and Stroke with supportive supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Candidates should be HCPC-registered with a Nutrition/Dietetics degree and Band 5 experience in complex medical or surgical care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Experience in complex medical, surgical or stroke care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a specialist inpatient caseload across Surgery, General Medicine and Stroke.
• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide specialist nutritional advice and interventions, including oral nutritional support and enteral feeding, and plan complex discharges.
