Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic HCPC registered Band 6 Podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Team covering the West Lancashire patch on a 9 month fixed-term basis. You will assess and treat patients in clinic and in their own homes, supporting high-quality, person-centred care closer to home.

This role suits a podiatrist with post-registration experience, capable of working independently or with a multidisciplinary team, and committed to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Post-registration podiatry experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to high standards of clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan and deliver podiatry treatment for a range of needs.
• Provide care in clinics and patients' homes, including wound management.
• Manage a defined caseload, with autonomous decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues and wider stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in service quality and improvement activities.
